“But when you come to the word poneros, it refers to something which is absolutely evil in and of itself. So he says in verse 4, he asks this question, "Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?" You have become judges of that which is positively wicked. Now, if something is positively wicked, that means it is absolutely a sin. And let me say this again, I've said it previously in this series, but you cannot sin without violating God's law because sin is the violation of God's law.”
