“What is an intellectual faith? It's when you mentally give assent to truth. You mentally say, "I believe certain truths," or "I believe certain doctrines," and/or "I believe certain propositions." And then once you have mentally assented to those truths, you claim that that is salvation, and therefore you now have peace. And in other words, you believe that salvation is nothing more than mental assent.”
