“You lust and have not. You kill and desire to have, you cannot obtain, you fight and war, yet you have not because you ask not, watch, you ask and receive not, why? Because you ask amiss, that is, you ask wrongly, that you might consume it upon your own lusts. We must not only ask in Christ's name, but we certainly must not ask selfishly and greedily.”
